    Happy that Germany didn't win!

Sad that Maradona didn't achieve the unbelievable!

Shocked at Holland's cynical tackles in the final!

Happy for Spain to win! Iniesta is one hell of a player!

Well done Spain.  They didn't score many goals in the tournament, but they kept the ball well and deserved to win.

I think I heard somewhere that they are the lowest scoring champions ever!

Spain scored eight, previous lowest tally was 11. :/ And my god were their games boring to watch. 70% possession and they carve out 2 decent chances a game. They just seem to want to defend, but with the ball. Well it worked, fair play to them I guess.

Spain is like a Mazda RX-8. Their method of play is unique and infallible in theory, but for some reason they have to work extremely hard per goal they score.

I wasn't really surprised they lost against Switzerland, tbh. Switzerland won a fluke of a goal, which happens to football teams, but not to Spain.

The unlived life is not worth examining.

Does anyone think we should stick Israeli and Palestinian flags on Paul the Octupus' boxes?

I love all that tiki-taka ... one touch passing around ... it's team talent.

    Hot news!

Germany rejects 'transfer bid' for octopus oracle Paul
