  • Coca Cola: No Mohamad, No Mecca
     OP - June 07, 2010, 03:57 PM

This just came to my attention, although it seems an old news, but I found it hilarious and would like to share anyway.

The reversed (mirror image) of Coca Cola says: No Mohamed, No Mecca.... or that was what people say. But here is my take on it. The reversed CC name does not say "No" it actually says "For". SO it actually says, "For Mohamed, For Mecca". In Arabic the letters "La" could mean "NO", but the letter "L" definately and surely means "For".

A friend of mine, was silly enough to buy the story, and when I explained it to him and jokingly say to him, look: "It turned out that the Coca Cola owners are secretly Muslims, they say this wonderful soft drink is to honour Mohamed and Mecca. He was stunned to wondered why he did not analyse the writing himself.... He realized that he was a sheep!  Cheesy

Yeah, it is pretty old. And retarded. I recently watched a video of some French moron 'demonstrating' how, when you look at the paper covering a bottle of Fanta backwards it reads "Shaytan". Shoot me now.

Many Muslims have a sore loser mentality. The West progresses past them and they get defensive instead of try to regain their leadership.

haha have you guys ever seen this "Mecca Cola" ??

Some muslim businesses promoted this drink at the mosques in Canada quiet a bit. It tasted no where near as good as the original coke and i am not sure if it is still around.

I had Qibla cola or something a few Ramadans back. I think it was at a conference or something. Tasted pretty much like Pepsi with too much sugar in it. It's all about Evoca Cola though...

It contains black seed! Why not fulfil the sunnah whilst enjoying your refreshing carbonated beverage?

During the late 1990s, a special committee of authorities in Saudi Arabia, with representatives from the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Trade, was formed to review the rumors against the Coca-Cola logo. The committee determined that there is no basis to these false allegations and that the Coca-Cola trademark does not connote anything defamatory to Islam.

Wow, and I thought just my government wasted time and money.

So once again I'm left with the classic Irish man's dilemma, do I eat the potato or do I let it ferment so I can drink it later?
