Welcome to the forum
I have some questions if you don't mind:
1-What interests you in an ex-Muslim forum?
2-Wouldn't you agree that it would wiser for the Feminist movements in the West to focus their efforts on women in Third World countries? don't you think that (although true gender equality in Western countries has not been achieved) you as a feminist should allocate most of your time to helping women in more patriarchal societies such as Muslim countries where their human rights are violated much more so than in the West? wouldn't it be more moral to spend your money to combat honor killings than say to campaign against the porn industry?
Thank you kindly.
1- My sister Maryam Namazie is always been a well of inspiration. An oasis of hope. A light-house for the shipwrecked and destitute.
I was led to this forum through her videos on YouTube.
2- You are indeed right. I will not waste a letter in writing a lengthy, verbose response. Suffice it to say that my sisters are under the shackles of men. Driven to plow the fields like cattle. Treated like chattel. But even here in the enlightened West one must fight the good fight to liberate all our sisters. We will not give up until we have equal rights, equal pay, equal opportunities!!! In all walks of life! We have many sisters combating the evils in the West so I spend my time focusing outside. My grandmother once said "Just because a wolf does not bare his fangs it does not mean he won't take a bit out of you".
Be on guard. Always!
