Knowing how Italy works, I am not sure that such statue is built with any direct involvement from the Vatican.

Oh I do have some experience.. I have relatives who are Sicilian. Ironic that they are sponsoring statues of saints, but then I'm not surprised at all. The Catholic faith, priests and the Mafia have a history together.

To equate the ordination of women priests to the crimes of pedophilia committed by male priests is evil. I did not have much respect for the Vatican to begin with, but now I have utter contempt. The Church has sunk to new low. I believe that the Pope Benedict is sexist and man of hate.

I don't have much respect for the Vatican, especially considering how they handle cases where children have been abused but they really are something.
Just the cheek of attempting to compare anything to paedophilia.
