    Living amongst muslims, you never get meet ppl who openly share your views and experiences on islam. So for me, it wouldn't be a chore.

    I still have my 3 wedding dresses to this day.  Just can't throw them out, way too nice.

    Haha same! Supposedly the gold isn't for marriage exactly, it's more of a financial asset for when life gets tough. Given how expensive it is right now, I'm glad I've got my jewels Tongue

    Yeah, my parents used to tell me it was 'just in case', for the divorcee.  Grin how wrong they were, all my jewels fed me and my kids whilst I was married, they were gone long before the marriage was gone.
