    Things I love:
    A good hair day
    Strong tea
    My vegetable patch
A burn up in the garden
    Good music in the car
When I can be bothered to exercise
    Cuddles
    Discovering a new hit recipe

I love living in the country, where there is a bounty of the
freshest fruit and vegitables.  Picked the same day they
are sold, in small stands along the roadside.  Even better,
neighbors with surplus who bring the excess over for you
to enjoy for free!  Oh, and free range chicken eggs too!

I love that about driving through the countryside. Farmers sometimes usually leave eggs by the roadside with a trust box Smiley

    I love waking up early.

Yeah London is a pretty good city. Though I've heard New York is a lot better in your 20s. London is more for when you're 35-40 and want to settle down a bit. From what I've been told that is. Though, many of the buildings in the city are older than the USA itself ... and still standing  Tongue

Settle down in London in your late 30s? Are you high?

Mate, London is the city that, unless you are minted, you need to leave when you get to your 30's and mid 30's.

London is a great city to be in when you're young, without responsibilities, without kids, and you don't mind living in a small room with exorbitant rents that eats most of your money, and all the other high costs, because the excitement and cosmopolitanism more than makes up for it. You get high on the buzz and happenings, the people you meet, the things you do.

Its lifestyle and quality of life. Unless you're minted, when you want a house with a garden, a bigger flat, have kids, it changes.

Rich people in London have it sorted - they get the lifestyle and the good things of London, and can insulate themselves from the costs. No doubt about it. London is one of the greatest cities on earth. But you need money, and the urban excitement, the raw edge of it, and the allure of that, competes with wanting different things in life, when you get older.
