Red back spiders. Found a mummy one when I was vacuuming the other day and ever since I've been checking all the cracks and behind things to see if there are any more. Did you know those suckers can lay 300-600 eggs in one go and lay several sacks a year? OMFG, I've been worried that they might colonise this place and if they do they can have it, I'll move out and never come back.
And what's funny about this, is I'm not scared of spiders, I actually enjoy killing the things, except for daddy-long-legs, which I leave alone as they are harmless and are beautiful creatures, but red backs?!!! ARGHHH!!! No thanks, I detest them. I know they aren't too poisoness to adults, but they can kill children or the elderly or make them very sick.
BTW, does anyone know how to spell poisoness properly, the spell check doesn't tell me and I know I've spelt it wrong 'cause the red line comes up underneath it.
Please let there be no baby red backs crawling around. Please.
