    12 inches to a feet, 3 feet to a yard, 22 yards to a chain, 10 chains to a furlong, 8 furlongs to a mile.

    See? You should be able to remember it within a fortnight.

    The US system is of course different. Bloody colonials.

    And in Sweden a mile is 10 km. A Danish mile is 7.54348 km. However a Sjællandsk (Largest Danish Island with the capital) mile is 11.13 km.

    Also in the good ol' days there was 4 farthings to a penny, 12 pence to a shilling and 20 shillings to a pound. You kids have it too easy these days.

    I just found out another person I really liked has died. She had fought cancer before - and "won".

    Well, obviously she didn't win the war.

    She was the most awesome boss I have ever had  We really worked well together. And she was a really nice human being as well.

    She was 46 and

    She is survived by two kids around 11 and 15 years old.

    I hear you. A neighbour of ours died of stomach cancer last month, after having defeated leukemia 15 years ago. Cancer is the worst.

    I really hate people who can't be honest about who they are. When everything's fine and working, they pretend oh these are the principles I live by. I'm this and that kind of person and these are my thoughts and values. But then when they are confronted by real life problems and put to the test, they show what shitty and petty people they really are. I can't stand it. I've come to realize that I'm somewhat of an exception and that most people put up more than one mask in front of people trying to prove themselves to be something they're not. What you see is what you get with me, and I think I've proved it by staying true to who I am when life is fine and dandy, and being the exact same person when life eats you and shits you out. Fuck two-faced assholes.

    When some Muslim post some silly meme without investigating further which says that the US/Teh West/Israel are manipulating the media to make Islam look bad delete an entire thread because I drop in and try to correct people's perception.

    Latest example:

    The "Rage Boy".

    Some Danish Muslim guy who befriended me (we have a lot of shared "friends") on Facebook posted this meme:



    And this "proof" that he is actually Jewish:

    I hate when you're hungry, but have zero motivation and inspiration to cook sommething up. I also hate when you feel hunger, but strangely enough can't eat anything because your apetite is gone and everything seems to be tasteless and in the end meaningless to eat. That's the time when you go out and eat something yummy in a restaurante.

    That's why I hate being broke the most.
