Went to a wedding yesterday, and was accosted by another fruitcake Muslim, who claimed there was a secret zionist plot to bring philosophy to the Muslim world, in order to oust Islam.

Its one conspiracy after the next, in order to defend the defenceless.  Yet the one conspiracy theory that they neglect is the one sitting right underneath their nose  wacko.

Even his 6 year old wife understood it, when Muhammed wanted more than the stipulated 4 wives, and Allah suddenly granted prophet a total of 7

and Aisha said: “It seems to me that your Lord hastens to satisfy your desire “ Sahih Muslim - Book 008, No 3454  Cheesy

Heard this before, what do Muslims make out of it?

Isn't there an entire section of a hadith where Muhammad cheats on his wives with a suspected slave/house maid

If people were arrested for preaching pseudo-science , they're wouldn't be many theists left...

Theres a video on youtube somewhere (quite popular but can't find it at the moment) where a muslim is explaining that oneday, the earth will stop spinning...and because 'the earths spin is like a spring', it will eventually start spinning the other way around, thus the sun will rise in the west as the Quran states (somewhere)

Its absolutely insane, but what bothers me the most is the fact that none of the audience got up and left....its the blind, led by the blind, led by the bind, led by the liar...

I think that they based it off this hadith:

“The day of the hour will not come until the sun rises from the west, if it rises and Allah places His hand at night to forgive his morning sinners, and places in the morning to forgive his night sinners until the sun rises from the west."

There was a mass-spam of Islamic e-mails saying that NASA said that the Sun would rise from the west, and that the end of the world is coming. wacko

    i)  9/10 times they have never heard of it and say it doesnt exist, even if I give them the exact source and verse number
ii) they smile, and say she was well known to have the sharpest tongue of all his wives
ii)  even though its a sahih hadith, they say its false

I'm starting to wish I was Muhammad now that I'm looking at Maria.

Weren't they all orphans or widows that needed male support?

He had a good divine reason, so how could she object? She must have said "Mashallah! Keep up the good work, Allah! loves women and doesn't want them to be 'manless'

Muhammad was also a widow-maker.  Wink

But he apparently did them a great favor by marrying them.
