I personally eat 5 meals per day but this is not exactly agreed upon and its not recommended by every nutritionist.
Lol. I've calculated my calorie needs using multiple equations, and they all came out with around 2,400 calories, and I seem to be progressing fine with it.

I dont get why this is so hard to believe. Ask arou nd your gym or even just do an internet search its not really that abnormal.
Diet compliments a work-out program. If you work out 1-1.5 hours a day, there's no way you need 5,000+ to gain muscle. If you work out more, you're doing it wrong.
I would need more than 5k cals to actually put on muscle at this point. I maintain my current lbm at 5k
