    What's your problem?

I'm putting you on restricted. You have an email address from a domain that provides throw-away accounts. I don't like this at all.

In some Bangladeshi families the Aqeeqa is not even recited for girl babies at all, not even the firstborn.  My ex-husband has three sisters and none of them had the Aqeeqa whispered in their ear at birth, only he did.

"whispered in their ear at birth"
    huh?  Huh?
That's not Aqeeqa.  That's a different ritual. Smiley i.e. whispering the Adhan for newborn babies.

When I was born, my dad made a sacrificed sheep whisper things in my ears! Yours didn't? Just what kind of a muslim are you?

@Naerys:  Yeah, but the whispering of the Adhan into the ear is not called Aqeeqa.  That's all I was trying to say.  Smiley
Aqeeqa, as you know, "involves sacrificing a goat or lamb on behalf of the child."

Silly me. 015 I only skimread your earlier post and didn't see the funny side.  I do now. Cheesy
I thought you meant: "When I was born, my dad made a sacrificed a sheep and whispered things in my ears!"

salim munqith  let me see if I can find some contacts here in the states
who would be willing to publish it for you.  May take a while, but I may
have some sources willing to do so.  PM me any info and extracts of the
book for me to forward, k?
