    listen,, i wana join the council of ex-muslim of britain, how do i do it?

    i sent her e-mail but she is out of office for most of august...

    You have to first establish yourself as a trustworthy murtad before you can even consider joining the COEM crew on their campaigning.

    I think only Hassan (and a few others) have gained their trust.

    Welcome to the forum anyway.  How is Pakistan?  Where abouts you from and is it difficult being an ex-Muslim over there, considering Islam is always in your face?

    left around about a year ago. Hey how come there's ex-muslim under other people's name and only member underneath mine?
    lol you know so many people ask me why i left islam and every time they do i think to myself... there are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many reasons. I mean c'mon... an illiterate businessman chosen to deliver allegedly the most important message to mankind... couldn't even keep himself from violating a 9 year old girl?
    And anyway, if god does exist, he wouldn't speak to anyone, because he would immediately become unjust since he would give certain people 100% proof while leaving everyone else in a confused state leading them to hell.
    Plus most muslims are so retarted.. i'm there asking my friend who does science, does he really think Noah brought every species on his boat, including trees... he's like yes..  Huh? Huh? Huh?

    i'm not sure. i've not been pakistan for like 8 years sooo
    but i'm sure there are many. I mean if you look at any ex-muslim site, you'll find many muslims from pakistan.. there's some on the CEMB who's posted from pakistan telling how they are athiests.
    The thing is, if it wasn't a death penalty for leaving islam, many many many people would admit to leaving islam.

    kamal, if you don't leave Islam then you will be burned in the hell fire when you die.  It's very easy to blindly follow Islam but wallahi you will enter the fire if you continue.

    If you want to save yourself from the torment of the hell fire then I suggest you leave Islam immediately.

    yes, a friend on facebook told me about CEMB and i found the forum through there.
    It's kind of weird because i didn't actually leave islam by doubting it. When i started going to college doing science, I deeply got interested in whether god exists or not.. So i started watching debates with dawkins, hitchens and sam harris. So i didn't leave islam because someone disprove islam for me lol but left it because hitchens and dawkins disproved religion itself for me. If that makes sense :p

    yea pretty much. I realized that all so called "prophets" were men like me who happened to be born among extremely illiterate and credulous people.
    plus, i saw how people believe all sorts of retarded things just because they were told as a child to believe them. So my de-conversion was pretty rapid. No long funny business lol

    it's funny because i've learnt more about islam since leaving it then i did when i was muslim.
    I want to become really knowledgeable about it...
    my plan is to somehow join the council and say it like it is...
    i wana challenge mosques for debates..
    in a way, i don't want to sound too full of myself and forgive me if i do sound like it, i want to be islam's hitchens Wink

    The Council may not share the same objectives as you.  I think they're focused more on promoting freedom of religion and freedom to LEAVE religion, rather than going out of their way to disprove Islam itself (as I like to do).

    In which case you can always go solo and create youtube videos.  Or invite Muslims speakers like Hamza Andreas Tzortzis to have a debate with you.  I'd pay to see that. Smiley

    Good idea - a few here like Hassan, me, Tommy, Rationlizer, Nessrriin, darkeyed have links in their signatures pointing to their youtube channels, take a look to get ideas

    I don't know enough about islam at the moment to actually challenge people. I'm still learning. But hopefully sooner rather than later i'll be ready Wink

    Well if that's the case, I'd advise you to work on your English style a little, you come across as a fairly young person to me, probably in your teens? (I apologise if I'm wrong). I've noticed Dawkins and others in the debating field are rather gifted with words and clear communication. With hard work you can achieve what you want and good luck with that  Afro

    Hmm! good luck but if you really want to defeat Muslims in debate, you must have two qualities.
    1. you should be very good at Arabic language because Muslims start to blame translators when they find any illogical verse in Quran.
    2. You should be courageous because your life will always be in danger if you renounce Islam publicly.
