Should we really leave every country and group of people to their ways? Do you believe it was wrong to pressure Saudi Arabia into banning slavery? I think there are some human rights abuses that should never be tolerated and other countries should try their best to influence the offending governments in order to stop such practices.
As long as their ways aren't imposed on others yes. Slavery still exists in most parts of the world. In the gulf arab countries they're called migrant workers, in bangladesh, india, pakistan etc. they're called sweatshops and in the US its called the army

Those "other countries" only care about human rights abuses when it goes with their geo-political views when it doesn't they don't care hence a certain country being very pro-egypt, jordan and saudi.
