Os's orchid reminded me of the one I grew in my kitchen from a half- dead scrap of a specimen that was given to me to revive. The flowers lasted for months. Smiley

Not just nature, but also cityscapes, landmarks and such.

My thoughtless hand has brushed away.

I too dance and drink, and sing,

The earth is full of natural awe and shock, mountains, rivers, valleys etc all the more reason why organised religions requiring buildings to worship God sounds so contrived. if you had to worship God then surely worship in the open air around his creation.

I am my own worst enemy and best friend, itsa bit of a squeeze in a three-quarter bed, tho. Unhinged!? If I was a dog I would be having kittens, that is unhinged. Footloose n fancy free, forced to fit, fated to fly. One or 2 words, 3 and 3/thirds, looking comely but lonely, till I made them homely.D

I saw yezeevee posting Gitanjali earlier. It reminded me of this nice nature video with one of the poems (Stream of Life) from Gitanjali.

in North America, the golden tortoise beetle is able to change the transparency of its shell from jewel-like to clear with the use of microscopic valves that control moisture under the shell. It can usually be found on morning glories, its favorite food.
