Funny usage of the word "Militant" by moderates

Is it just me or has anyone noticed this meme of using the word "militant" by moderate Muslims to describe more religious Muslims friends and/or relatives of their's or of themselves?

E.g.
"He's coming back from Hajj, and watch out, he'll be militant!"
or
"I'm not militant, just saying products that endorse Zionism should be boycotted!"

I just find it so ironic and funny, lol!

Militant is a word like culture and religion, extremism, aggression and defense. It can be used and abused until it loses all meaning.

So once again I'm left with the classic Irish man's dilemma, do I eat the potato or do I let it ferment so I can drink it later?
