I always thought of Philhellenes as the New Carl Sagan Truly Inspirational Videos that bring tears to my eyes and make the hair on my body stand and my mind thrown into dream land wondering about the infinite possibilities that awaits mankind if we could all just look to science for answers about our universe.

He's certainly aiming for it, and also certainly moving towards it, but he's no Carl Sagan....not yet at least :-)

yeah - I find his stuff a little tacky, over-emotional but not bad. A cheap knock-off Sagan that you picked up @ Poundland.

I knew that you would feel that way - you are not as inclined towards the emotional - as I am for example.

Thanks , but most people say I am both, overly sentimental & overly logical (I dont do anything by halves ).

The thing is I choke up when I see Sagans vids, I was really touched by the suicide vid you did and was left thinking about them even after the videos finished. I well up & have tears in my eyes when I see boy/girl done good documentaries. And I told my dad that I loved him last year .

But this just seem like naff, rehashed & unoriginal - if he wasnt so articulate, I'd be left cringing into a ball.

I prefer the science saved my soul video...sort of how i become an ex-muslim but over a 10 year period.

Through Logic, truth can be ascertained.
