I have been trying to contact people in Egypt to find what is going on but I have been having major troubles trying to reach them

Did or didn't he say:

“Mubarak has been an ally of ours in a number of things. And he’s been very responsible on, relative to geopolitical interest in the region, the Middle East peace efforts; the actions Egypt has taken relative to normalizing relationship with – with Israel. … I would not refer to him as a dictator.”

It can't be a misquote, seeing as others are quoting him as saying the same thing:

I just called my mom and based on what she is saying
1) A mobile phone company has stopped service completely
2) mubarak said he won't reform nor back down
3) there is curfew in the whole country now
