    China has blocked the word "Egypt'' from the country's wildly popular Twitter-like service, while coverage of the political turmoil has been tightly restricted in state media.

    China's ruling Communist Party is sensitive to any potential source of social unrest.

    A search for "Egypt'' on the Sina microblogging service brings up a message saying, "According to relevant laws, regulations and policies, the search results are not shown".

    At the end of Naguib Mahfouz's The Cairo Trilogy, its shown how the young, idealistic students who sought to change Egypt politically, through socialism, activism, secular nationalism and democracy, are thrown in prison arbitrarily by the authoritarian leaders. The trilogy ends with this dark tone being played close to its last pages, and the snuffing out of an entire generation and their hopes is deeply ominous. I keep thinking of those scenes, and how that has been repeated constantly over the generations, when I watch these scenes.

    I do not find "towelhead" funny and I have never used it myself. You are making things up as you go along. But you do that all the time therefore I am not really surprised.

    And I would condemn the use of a word "towelhead" in case I noticed that it was used in a hateful manner - in a way similar to your braindead comment about "blacks not being able to govern themselves".

    Are you referring to MAB using "towelhead" and 'cheering' for Israel? You do know what sarcasm is, right? And I do know that MAB used in a sarcastic way and I do think that this fact should be apparent to anybody with IQ north of room temperature.
