Just saw a reference to this video clip on my local news and thought I'd share it with you all. There's a second video too which shows the same Gorilla walking in the same way despite the fact that he is not carrying an object as he was in the 1st.

Interesting; why would a gorilla do that?

Not sure why this Gorilla would do it given its circumstances. I've seen Bonobos do it, especially when carrying stuff, but this Gorilla does it when carrying something and also when not carrying anything.

I really have no idea. It will be interesting though to see if any of the infants mimic it, so I have subscribed :-)

I wondered if it had acquired that behaviour by living in a zoo, and observing humans all its life
