An Idea.

Hey, I kinda had an idea for debunking the whole "NO. YOU CAN NEVER. EVER. EVER NEVER EVER NEVER EEEEEEEEVERRRRRRRRRRRR COME CLOSE TO PRODUCING ONE SURAH LIKE THE QURAN. EVER." claim.

You could actually test this out by having a little "quiz", if you will, with multiple questions. Each question will give a choice of 5 verses, only one of them actually being from the Quran and you could see how many Muslims would be able to discern the correct one from the others. Of course, if the Quran really is as divine as they say, any Muslim would be able to clearly see the difference between the work of God and the work of Man. Just an idea I had.

That's quite funny

Nobody would give it any credibility though. The only people able to determine "the miracle of the Arabic" would be familiar with the Quran enough to know they were not real verses, and fooling anyone else would be irrelevant.

You could only do it face-to-face though, otherwise they could just cheat and google the verses to see which is the fake one.

I know, but I mean it would give people who don't know Arabic and rely on translations a whole lot less reason to call themselves actual Muslims.

Or you could have it timed And since there would be 4 fake verses and one correct verse, copy pasting the correct one would be a 20% possibility. Of course, they most likely wouldn't copy paste the correct one and it would only waste that oh-so precious quiz time.

It shouldn't be too hard to mislead the ordinary, non-translation-reading Muslim. Especially if you are somewhat acquainted with the Qur'an, just recite it in Arabic, mixing some of the more common reoccuring elements.
"Wa qaaloo inna allahe ya'muru bil 3adli wal fa7shaa'e wal munkar. Wallahu la khabeeth ul kezzaab ul khinzeer."
I am sure many Muslims would swallow it as being a genuine Quranic verse
