Wow, what a depressing thread title. Still, some of the greatest music ever written moves me to tears. I would not always describe it as tears of happiness either. Sometimes melancholy, loss, grief, helplessness, even anger. Such is the power of music. Yeah, I’m a closet Emo, so what. We all wear a mask.
Are there any songs that move you so much it's almost unbearable, or fill you up so much that you think you could burst?
This one breaks my heart, but at the same time makes me more appreciative of the good life I have:
Dead Can Dance - The Host Of Seraphim http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJhVM930YXYCouple of big ballads:
This Mortal Coil - Song to the Sirenhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mUmdR69nbMBjork - Play Deadhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CHiHZ35TPfMAnd the obvious choice:
Sinéad O'Connor - Nothing Compares 2 Uhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUiTQvT0W_0Make me cry. I like a good cry.
