Anybody else suffer from this terrible affliction? I think we need to raise awareness for this problem because there are no rehab facilities for anyone going through this pain.

Just get into the habit of having dark chocolate... if you have too much it tastes bitter after a while.  Smiley

I rarely eat chocolate.  I convinced myself for years that I hated it and never ate it or craved it.  I started eating small pieces of chocolate last month and it was delicious.  Grin

But I still rarely eat it, psychologically I hate the stuff.   wacko

Real chocolate addicts don't eat snickers. You're probably just a sugarfile. Very very different from me - who ate four bars of dark chocolate in last day and a half. You must also enjoy it with insanely strong black tea or coffee until you start bouncing of the walls. That's addiction, brother! Wink

Yeah I will have to go along with zbd, sometimes it's just not even chocolate - it's just a completely typical desi sweet tooth. I could dine out on a box of muffins for instance.

It's not chocolate's feelings, z. Why would you imply that people with roots from the Sub-continent have a different propensity to consume sweets than other people. Why? It's so unfair.

I love home made hot chocolate made by my gf, I used to like Lindt (especially with sea salt), but my favorite now is Trader Joe's swiss dark chocolate with hazelnuts. FR is alright, cane.

I have the same problem. Well, sometimes I am pretty sure I am joking, but it happens pretty seldom. Doesn't every joke have to reflect a real issue to be funny?

I've got a similar problem. I managed to convince myself that I hated it too. I've been eating it more recently though as my housemate keeps offering me some. My problem with it is that I keep imagining that it's going to rot my teeth. Guess its a good thing as it stops me from eating too much of it.

Dark chocolate is yummy, Peru! Plus I find it very satisfying and I devour it slowly, let each piece melt on my tongue... hmmm... yum!

I suppose I'm not big on chocolate so a few bites of dark chocolate is good enough.  I find that I can't stand choc bars much because they're just too sickly sweet.  The only one I have ocassionally is kit kat as it goes perfectly with a cuppa tea.  grin12

I really like chocolate (of the dark variety), although I don't eat much of the stuff. The Lindt Mint Intense that Pariah posted is really nice. Right now I'm eating:

I'll give it a try, though I'm not particularly fond of mint choc.

Blimey does that 5% makes a big difference.
