Hadith in Musnad Ahmad Ibn-Hanbal, vol. 4, p. 217:
"Uthman Ibn-al-As was invited to a circumcision, but he refused to come. When asked for the reason, he said: in the time of Muhammad we did not practice circumcision and we were not invited to it."
Strangely enough, though, he did stress it as one of the virtues of the devout and how Abraham sliced himself up when he was eighty (he actually did it when he was 99 though, shhh.) I dunno why people are so hung up on "cafeteria Muslims". It's practically sunnah!
Edit: There's a supposed piece of scripture where it says his grandfather circumcised him when he was a few days old but I can't seem to find any backing for this...
