    alm.. i wanna be there too.. this sucks!  We need a SOUTHERN CONNECTION
    going on.  only ones i know that are close by (relatively anyway lol) is
    the wyre and desauvult (i can never spell his name right lol)

    Baton Rouge is worse for me than Niagara in terms of distance and probably weather, but if northerners don't want me I'll have to go south Smiley

    Peppermint Tittays is also in Texas.

    I'd happily suggest New Orleans, Austin or maybe beach-y cities in Florida (Key West, Tampa, Ft. Lauterdale, Miami) as meet-up locations. It'd be great if anyone interested could suggest a date, input suggestions and specify individual budget limitations.

    i'm hopefully visiting US next year. currently planning to  go San fransisco then vegas with trip to grand canyon and then miami. Q, you're meeting me in vegas btw!!  grin12  cool2

    We have no chance of repeating that feat in Britain. Not only do we have a huge landmass to contend with, we also have various other natural and man-made barriers, preventing us from ever arranging anything similar here:

These places include Luton, Liverpool, Sunderland, Glasgow, Rotherham, Derby, Dundee, Stoke, Wolverhampton, Milton Keynes, Swindon, and the whole of Wales.

    Like I said, you guys in North America are lucky to be living where you are. If only meeting up with some of the wonderful people on this forum from Britain, had been as easy for us….

    Miami Beach sounds great idea specially because the tickets are cheap. But winter is a great time to go there. Niagara is good for summer. But looks like most of the people have backed out.

    Michigan weather is already way too hot for me.. I am not going anywhere south any more until end of August. Even my car starts screaming "Check Engine" in extreme hot weather, which I never seen in Canada.
