Whether consciously or subconsciously, you probably do look up to people or have a fondness for certain people. The views you have formed have no doubt been formed through learning from others, and there is no shame in admitting that you have learned from those that inspire you. It is great that you want to work towards being someone that others look up to, but most influential people have their own rolemodels and inspirations, from Prime Ministers to celebrities.

Uhm no, you can choose to look up to someone that inspires you, but that does not mean you are required to look down on somebody else. That's silly. I believe all human beings are equal, but we are judged by our values and ideas, and our own thoughts. Thoughts are open to scrutiny, and there is nothing wrong with being inspired by those who have values / beliefs / thoughts that either encourage you to learn or look at life more openly.

I think having a rolemodel or someone to look up to is the highest indication that you're willing to learn. I look up to people here, and have learned a great deal from people here. That doesn't mean I'm not equal or that I look down on other people, it means that I acknowledge the importance of learning from other people, and I would never only look to myself to learn more, because I would learn very little then. Everything I understand about life came from someone else who may have been inspired by someone else. It's quite restrictive to look to yourself and only yourself.

If this is the way you define "looking up"I can agree with you te a good deal, but then I have too many people in mind to answer the question  Wink

Good one! Plus Jane Goodall in the animals camp for me, Jasvinder Sanghera in the 'mind boggling courage' camp and of course Helen Keller! It's pretty amazing that she went to university and got a degree at a time when women didn't even go to uni, let alone a blind and deaf one.

Another guy that I look up to is the rugby player Fabien Pelous. He's physically very impressive. Very powerfully built guy. He towers at around 200cm. Just imagine him approaching you with a stare... He would look like a warrior just with boxers and wife beaters on. Picture him geared up with studded leather pants, spiked boots and vambraces.

    No.

Kane isnt good looking or probably even average for that matter, but he's certainly got a face that signals "don't mess with me or I will teach you a lesson". But he isn't degenerate looking. He's just rather coarse and brutish. http://www.sweetslyrics.com/images/img_gal/7657_kane%20%281%29.JPG
http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-HX2z0t0D3ag/Tfb-NzqOCNI/AAAAAAAADRg/lAI9i_31tAg/s1600/12043.jpg If he lost weight and had slightly more aquiline features especially the nose, he would be decent looking atleast.

Also Fabien Pelous is quite handsome too. Only thing he is hypermasculine. I believe that masculinity should go in congruence with harmony/handsomeness of the face to be attractive. In his case he is just not handsome enough for the standards of his masculinity.

No one really. but I came across this poem some time ago that I think is relevant to your question...

    My Special List

I have a list of people I know
    all written in a book,
    And every now and then
I go and take a look.
    That is when I realize
these names they are a part,
not of the book they’re written in,
    but taken from the heart.
For each name stands for someone
who has crossed my path sometime,
and in that meeting they have become
    the reason and the rhyme.
    Although it sounds fantastic
for me to make this claim,
    I am really composed
    of each remembered name.
    Although you’re not aware
    of any special link,
just knowing you, has shaped my life
    more than you could think.
So please don’t think my greeting
    as just mere routine,
    your name was not
    forgotten in between.
for when I send a greeting
    that is addressed to you,
it is because you are on the list
    of folks I’m indebted to.
So whether I have known you
    for many days or few,
in some ways you have a part
    in shaping things I do.
    I am but a total
    of many folks I’ve met,
you are a friend I would prefer
    never to forget.
                                   Unknowm

It's not what people say, but, rather, what they do that reveals their true intentions and character.

he needs like 4 stunners to crush his ego
5 pedigree to wipe that look of his face
2 sweet chin music for a new nose
maybe a rock bottom and an RKO to fix his head since he was dropped on it as a child

One stunner results in a 3-count, so 4 of them, 5 pedigrees, 2 SCMs and a Rock Bottom is a hell of a lot to go through. That just proves both his and my point, that he is awesome and deserving of worship.

Even the Dead Man barely survived Triple H's 3 Pedigrees.
