    I sometimes watch the turtles swim in the shallow water in a pond at work. It's relaxing.
    So once again I'm left with the classic Irish man's dilemma, do I eat the potato or do I let it ferment so I can drink it later?

    i do that for my kids when it's cold outside, they love it, just as much as I loved it as a child.  I even have it occasionally with them, just not as often since I also go crazy for super cold milk and crunchy nut cornflakes.

    I always eat cereal with warm milk too. To me at least it doesn't taste as good with cold milk.

    I don't talk to myself so much as have conversations out loud with people who aren't there.

    Like if I wished I'd said something to somebody and didn't think of the right things to say at the time, I think to myself why didn't I say this, and end up speaking them out loud over and over again, what I should have said.

    Also re-live famous conversations in my life out loud sometimes, with ex-girlfriends or mates having a laugh in the past, when I think about them.

    Not all the time, just occasionally.

    Unfortunately talking to myself is one bad habit that I want to quit because it is a little bit extreme with me. Some girls at the dorm used to laugh at me because they once saw me study and talk to myself. They think I'm weird!  Tongue

    I have a massively overactive mind. It's under control, but I can hold a really deep conversation with someone, noticing the bark on a tree in the background and wondering why tree bark is generally brown when thick and not, say, red or white. Wait no, there are plenty of pines with white bark (even red) but in general most trees of a certain girth are brown barked. Used to give me insomnia when I was younger  wacko

    I go for early morning / late night walks (around 1/2am) and pretend I'm coming back from work (I don't work) so people don't think I'm crazy (but I am). I even take a bag.

    When I was about 8-11 I kept having dreams where I'd be upstairs, the floor would be made out of glass and beneath me there would be a sea of naked bodies. I used to think that my mum could see my dreams, so because I thought dreaming about naked people was naughty, in my dream I'd look out the window with my telescope and just focus on plants and rabbits so that I could trick my mum into thinking I was having a 'clean' dream.

    My more recent dreams;

    In one dream I was in a wheelchair and I was making my way to a little corner shop. When I arrived at the corner shop (it was like one of those little shops in an Indian village) I bought an apple... then I made my way back home. On the way back home I started munching on my boob (I don't know what happened to the apple) and then I woke up.

    Another dream was when I was in a field full of cubicles. There were two brown bears chasing me and I had to jump in and out of each cubicle in order to escape. Blah blah... then I woke up.

    OK last one... In this dream I went on a school trip with 2 women I didn't know and my old geography teacher. During the whole dream we walked around with another person sitting on our shoulders... We had a good day and then it was time to go back home, but the car was a small nissan micra type and we were just standing there trying to figure out how to fit into the car... then I woke up.

    When I was a 9th grader, our stupid chemistry teacher was showing us how different metals reacted with water. He had no regard for safety procedures in the lab -_- He got me and another girl in my class to throw potassium, I repeat, POTASSIUM, into a tub of water. As predicted, sparks of fire went flying everywhere, and since we were closest to it, one fell on my nose and another on the girl's finger. I had to walk around with a huge burnt black spot on my nose for like 2 months until it started to heal slowly. God, the humiliation still makes me cringe D:

    Self Deprecating humour - i love making fun of myself for doing stupid acts though most times i do it to make myself laugh but cooler if someone can understand and laugh with me rather than think that i need some consolation or asking for pity
