    I think that all music sounds the same in comparison to what was out there 5-10 years ago when I stopped listening to music. I also hate auto-tune even though I am ashamed of admitting that I listen to songs that uses it heavily.

    When someone says they are afraid of space I involuntary think about Dead Space. I couldn't go to sleep alone that night after watching it.

    I didn't even  watch the movie "Gravity"  Cheesy and never played "Dead Space" for that stupid reason.

    Never knew it had movies/animations. I have no idea what the plot was even about, but it was great fun to shoot those space monsters. Should be responsible adult when I get home, but may play them tonight now that I'm remembering them...

    I used to have an awful stutter when I was in primary school, it was just terrible! Didn't really speak to many people and hated public speaking, however a years worth of elocution lessons and I've fully r.r.r.recovered! Smiley

    I understand, but it's just the principal. For some reason it gets portrayed negatively in the media nearly all the time, which has an affect on the way people view things, it's a powerful tool and stuttering is already misunderstood as it is.

    This winter, I finally allowed myself to grow out the biggest beard I’ve had since I shaved my “Muslim” beard. It was a little over an inch. For the first few years, I wanted nothing to do with beards, but I actually liked this one. I just cut it off Sunday.

    Just outta curiosity, when you "shaved" your long muslim beard did you do it gradually or lopped it off all at once ?

    How weird did it feel for you to get used to a clean shaven face after leaving islam ?

    I took it all off at once, but not with a razor. It was like a number one or a number two.

    Well actually I went through a pretty long phase during which even though I didn't personally believe, I still had to keep up appearances for a bunch of reasons. During that time I was very liberal in my trimming, unlike the days when I just let it grow, but even then it was a noticeably big beard.

    I hacked it all off once I was tired of pretending.

    I never had a "Muslim" beard lol, even when I was a muslim I never understood how Islam tried to monopolise that particular style of facial hair.  I have only been clean shaven about 10 times in my life.. I don't like it. At the very minimum, I still keep a 5 o'clock shadow.
    However, when I do shave I tend to take it all off at once, i.e. a 6 week period of growing it and then shaving or shaping most of it.
    My mind runs, I can never catch it even if I get a head start.

    My poor husband wants to grow a beard, but it only grows in weird patches, so he keeps it perpetually shaved. Something about the men in his family. Not a single one of them can grow the good Muslim beard they dream of.
