    Description: Talk by Maryam Namazie and fundraising dinner for One Law For All.
    Maryam will speak about the implications of legal pluralism for Australia, with insights from the UK experience to date in accommodating Islamic sharia law through the Arbitration Act 1996, and the current effort to limit the power of sharia courts and religious tribunals through the Arbitration and Mediation Services (Equality) Bill.

    One Ex-Muslim has taken a leading role in Atheism in Melbourne.
    Ali Sayed is the founding President of the Progressive Atheists (incorporated in 2010).

    I don't know... I think I remember reading she was in NYC a while back. But I remember the last time she was in Toronto, we had a nice chat outside. Smiley

    You're not doing your job right if you don't get death threats.

    Nothing gives you credibility as much as a death threat. I wish I got one or two, means that my existance matters.  thnkyu
