    I never meant to make him feel rejected, but I did him and myself a favour.

    Truth is after one night, or a short amount of dating (I like to refer to myself as the 12 weeker), he would have rejected me, and no one will ever ever get the chance to hurt me again like that.

    Fuck it.  God I am so angry I could just smash something right now thinking of all the ways it would have ended up, so better the not even trying, than the total broken mess that would have led to.

    Well, I am sending him a message now so that he knows it wasn't personal.  Its just me.  I'm not ever giving anyone a chance again and its as simple as that.  I don't care who you are, how long I have known you, what I know of you, none of that matters.  Fact is you will only tire of me, and then you will hurt me.  Done.

    Life would have been so much easier if two people meet,fuck each other's brain out and part ways but the reality in most cases is one must develop feelings for another. Guy or a chick.

    Over here, its impossible for a guy to have sex with a fulani girl(because all they want is a husband not boyfriend), so which is why most guys(that cant afford to get married or not interested) lies to them on how much they love them and all that just to get in bed with them. Im not saying they are doing the right thing in lying to them, but lately this sort of social barrier has turned relationship into some sort of game that causes pain between the two.however they are some muslimahs that seeks boyfriend for fun until their parents start to pressure them to get married, then they will break up with their boyfriend who have fall deeply in love them and leave them with a heartbroken.

    I think lots of people have no problems with just being 2 ships passing in the night.

    For me I'm more like titanic.  It's never a ship that passes me by, always an iceberg or a submarine that comes out of nowhere and smashes the shit out of me with no fucking warning. 

    Now I'm just debris on the ocean, and no one is trying to put me back together again, ever again.

    To be honest, my ex– used to think like that and kept trying to split us up. For her things lasted no longer than 8 months. We ended up dating for 3 years…

    The thought that I either have to live a lie and pretend to be a Muslim, or that I have to hurt my Mum by telling her I'm not a Muslim. Whenever my mum does something nice for me and I remember how much she cares for me, those sorts of thoughts always come to the fore.

    ^ I feel you man, but sometimes when the pressure of conforming to religious thingy gets too much,i naturally rebelled against it. At times i feel like saying fuck it, let them know,whatever the consequence is, i will face it.

    There's a third option-- once you're out of those house avoid the family on Fridays and Ramadan and during prayer times. Smiley Then you don't have to pretend or tell her.

    Your determinism is at odds with reason and there's no good reason to believe that any man you date, without fail or exception, will eventually tire of you and hurt you.     The fact that they would hurt me emotionally because of my apostasy (even though I'm not sure of this -- they keep sending mixed signals), makes me care less about hurting them emotionally by telling them about it. If my parents don't care about my feelings and disown me because I'm an ex-Muslim, then I sure as hell won't care about theirs, and will tell them that I have apostatized.
