but seriously, I am perplexed WHY the horis and pearly boys get so much attention
in the koran, and it seems the women (wives) are just an afterthought to placate them,

Errr yeah them too. The thing most folks are missing is, pearly boys houris are an allegory. It has a spiritual meaning rather then a physical one.

omg... allegory? Im gonna do a poll and ask
if they think houris and pearly boys are an allegory, real, or
a fantasy. I have yet to read anything on islam websites
and forums where they said they were an "allergory".

I think these are allegories taking out of context my Islamic men. I think I read a Sufi interpretation of this.
