My apologies, Eternity! It seems that I confused you with iSock, who also claims to be follower of Irbahim and Musa.

Found the answer! Your quote made me think that you find ALL beliefs ridiculous in here:

I don't know what you all believe, and I don't really care … but you have to admit that beliefs are odd. Lots of Christians wear crosses around their necks … you really think when Jesus comes back, he ever wants to see a fucking cross? - The Great Bill Hicks.

I would like to get added to the list. Name: Hope.

I saw it once online, forgot where the link is? Could someone remind me what info there is to add?

I'm a secular humanist/agnostic atheist. Reason: (i'll fill this out later when i find the right words since I know we have to keep it short).

Rather be forgotten than remembered for giving in.

Clarify, please: are you saying that you're fine with laughing at (parts of) Islam or just other religions? Also: respect Isa, alayhim salaam, who was not crucified!

Completely forgot about that. But I don't believe crucified so it means not. A laugh at what I find funny even those directed at us even if I shouldn't.

That's a chill attitude Eternity. Explains why you're also comfortable being here. Also implies you realize that you, just like most people rely on belief. Just because it's instilled, does not make it the truth. It just makes one what they are.

I am an ex-muslim. I went from muslim to closet atheist (not as satisfying as being an open atheist but it will do).

…and with one of the most beautiful women, Monica Bellucci, as your avatar. Nice one!

You can count me as an ex–muslim too. But I’ve posted on here for a number of years. I simply could not get into my original account (Pazuzu), and when I tried to reset my password it claimed I did not exist.

That's weird. I don't recall anything being done to that account. I'll take a look now.

Hey there folks. Also an ex–muslim here, from a muslim background, born and bred into the religion. It’s left me with a lot of hang–ups I still have to fight to overcome.

    Oh, yeah, it is!

Yep yep, that is me. I used to post as Pazuzu bin Hanbi (and at a muslim forum got accused of trying to deceive people into thinking I was a muslim because of my 'arabic' name — despite ‘Arabi not having any P sounds in it!) but had problems with my account so started a new one. It also explains why I have ‘Pazuzu bin Hanbi’ as my user text under my name! Wink

atheist here, raised a muslim changed in my late teens.

I am also against religion, people who wish for it should keep it to themselves, it should hold no influence on state or civil matters. Nor should it be taught to kids under the age of 12.

Personally i think we dont need the brainwashing cults interfering with our lives and suppressing our development any longer the government has taken that job now.  Cheesy

my parents are muslims, but i never have been. I ain't trying to make out I was a super intellectual kid, but even when i was 7/8 i thought it was a bunch of a fairytales/myths. I remember as a child watching the last unicorn movie and being told that it was make believe and that horses with horns don't exist, then a few days later i was told the story of mo flying on a horse and was told its true .. I think that's my first memory of realising islam was supernatural paranormal nonsense.

I am an atheist that used to be a muslim (I don't like the label ex-muslim as it only reinforces the "blasphemous kafir" stereotype among muslims.
