    I think the only solid name I can say I have used as my term of 'endearment' was asshole.

    i don't know.. i always liked other languages for this kind of stuff.. bella, habibti, ..  but then again, there's nothing like hearing your own name.. especially when the person has a fantastic voice (makes all the difference)

    I think Arabic terms of endearment are the best, hands down.

    7abibti, 3ayni, 3omri, 7ubbi, roo7i, 7ayaati... (There's so many that it took me like 10 seconds to write all those)

    And here's a nice one from Algeria: Kebda! Meaning "liver". As in, you're so precious, just like my liver!

    Chérie and mon amour are also nice. Ma dulcinée, ma belle, mon coeur...

    In Lebanon, they say things like "To2borni!", or "You bury me!", because apparently you'd only want close people to do that. (That's my own explanation, though.)

    Yes I've heard it used in Egypt "Ya Kebdi" - meaning "Ya Albi" (Qalbi)

    I'm also pretty sure I heard it used in Morocco too!
