Pretty advanced for its time, tells a little story that completely fits with the theme of the song, and includes Bo Diddley and Philadelphia pool legend Willie Mosconi not just as cameos but as non-speaking actors that actually drive the little story. I could watch this over and over and not get bored or jaded.
Anyhow, here's a third version, yes, a third version, of Del Shannon's "Runaway", this one was re-recorded with some updated lyrics especially for the short-lived (think it was just 2 seasons) but thoroughly awesome TV show "Crime Story" in the mid 1980s (produced and directed by Michael Mann, pilot episode directed by Abel Ferarra):
