  • Answered Questions by theists!!!
     OP - December 12, 2011, 05:48 PM

I recently found this vid, pretty interesting stuff and this girl is asking 5 Questions and I found very interesting explanations by religious people down on the comment section.

    The vid:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VPmLrj0YENk&feature=channel_video_title

    The Questions:

    1. Would you be able to enjoy Heaven knowing that people you love are tormented in Hell ?

    2. . How come so many times the all-knowing God doesnt seem to have a clue whats gonna happen ?

    3. How do you justify God punishing Adam and Eve for something the did before having any knowledge about good and evil ?

    4. What will happen in the Afterlife to the people who never heard about your religion ?

    5. How do you justify an infinite punishment for a finite crime ?

Answers to those questions: (just copy pasting them)

    ___________

#1 In heaven, death will no longer have sting or bite. It will be swallowed in victory. God will wipe away our tears, no pain or sorrow.
#2 Not a denial of His knowledge. He judges by what He sees, not by report.
#3 He gave them a choice between life & death. Choosing death, they quickly found out why that was wrong.
#4God isn't limited by earthly constraints. He probably let Himself be known 2 them. Old argument because the Gospel is everywhere now.
#5Did u want 2 be a robot or puppet? Smiley
    ____________

    Interesting answer to Question 3:

3.They had enough reason to understand words dont or NO NO
    _____________

1 - n In heaven we will know who will be there, po that. We will be new, restored and will not recognize anyone, so I will have no way of knowing whether there are or who is not my family.
2 - God demonstrated decreased - yes - the clues that are happening, but it's all happening because of what was being done humando because God does not tempt anyone and can not be tried, has not hurt him.
3 - God spoke to Adam that it was l'adresse if he ate something not good, different than living together. If someone spoke to you that if you eat, you eat would be bad? Therefore, the consequence of disobedience of man. Note that everything is back to our disobedience.
4 - No person God we had died without hearing about Jesus, or Jesus will return. This is guaranteed by God in his word.

I-God is Just, saint and loving he sends to hell people because of their sinful nature and there life of sin,no man can live a life so just so that God may accept him,so God have his God Jesus to give us his justice.
II-he does, the questions are 4 us to know what is in his mind or just make a point
III-he did it so because that Justice, something is not just because you say so it is because he does (point I) (this does not justify criminal act on behalf of God)
    IV-Romans 1-5 sorry to long
    V-3

    1. Heaven is pure happiness. Period.
    2. The Bible is used to teach people, so God is humanized to make the stories more compatible with our minds.
    3. It wasn't a matter of right or wrong, it was a matter of pure obedience. Adam disobeyed, so he faced the consequences.
    4. Jesus is put into everyone's heart. All will be judged.
    5. God's standard of morality is so perfect, that he can't allow even the slightest sin. Our standard consists of finite concepts. God is infinite.

    [Comment 1 of 2]
God's punishment is not for individual finite crimes. The finite crimes are only the observable results of the much greater issue; the sin nature that has ruined man.

    [Comm. 2/2]
The sinful nature makes man useless for God's original intention; to impart His life into man so that man may express God in life and nature and exist with Him
as His counterpart for eternity. With a broken, defiled, and dirty vessel, how can it ever fulfill its purpose to contain and express the substance for which it was meant? God's only choice is to save the vessel, restore it to its original condition and then use it, or to throw it away. He leaves the choice up to the vessel.

Good questions 4 atheist 2 ask theists.
    1) Will our "souls" miss others not in heaven?
1b) If, Yes will that b painful?
    1) Yes & no! Initially we might miss those not in heaven, but The Creator's full-on presence & love will fill all gaps himself. As-well-as meeting ancestors & other cousins we never had a chance 2 meet b-4. When time no longer counts we will soon forget this fallen world. Just like a baby soon forgets the horror & pain of it's head being squeezed through the birth channel.

Let's let the Qur'an do the talking...Question 1. On the Day a man will flee from his brother,And his mother and his father,And his wife and his children,For every man, that Day, Everyman, that Day, will have enough to make him careless of others.(82:34-37)

#2.Obviously,consistency/fluency/integrity of a thread of logic is not the bible's strong point(all due respect to my Christian brethren),no comment. However, regarding the Test given in the Qur'an, you ask why test if He knew? Clearly stated in the text is the purpose, that some would turn in repentance. Your question why would He test if He already knew doesn't actually connect. Why does a teacher give a final exam at the end of the year when, realistically, they know who will pass and fail.

#3. You(suspiciously)fail to mention a Qur'an verse here, why? In the future,I would prefer a more complete argument.More to the point,Muslims do not view "banishment" to this world as a punishment, but rather as a part of The Mercy which comprehends all things. At any given time in a person's life, there is a high road to pursue.

#4. The premise of this question is that somewhere/somehow in creation, man-heaven bound, or hell bound; from any and all perspectives the question can be asked from:belief, disbelief or agnostic-is s link in the chain of salvation/damnation. He is not..."5. His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. And to Allah return all the matters (for decision)."57:5

#5. I will address question from both possible aspects, viz., the finite punishment(man punishing man) and the everlasting(God punishing man). The first, in Islam, there would need to be clear evidence of recidivism on the part of the offender. There is ample evidence in the sunnah of Muhammad(SAWS);and the second; In the Prescribed Tablet, in which is written the account of all things, the first thing written is ,"My Mercy shall supersede My Wrath."

OK these are some of the many, I don't wanna write too much.

Also when u were Religious back in time how did u answer these questions?

    Amazing answers. Love em.

Believe those who are seeking the truth. Doubt those who find it.
