     OP - December 29, 2011, 02:35 PM

Sometimes I lurk around Ummah.com and find myself laughing or face palming myself reading some of their absurdities. So, post any silly comments made by Muslims you find on forums or social networking sites in this thread.

Anyway, I found this little comment posted by a Muslim woman when the issue of divorce was disccussed-

" I myself thought this when I was trying to decide to leave my marriage. I remember thinking to myself "I don't want to shake the throne of Allah"....

    lol demba!

One of the funniest responses I got was when I questioned a muslim that came
on here once... I brought up Surah 19, and how the hell did Maryam (moses and
Harun's sister) get twisted up in verses with Maryam, Isa's mother?
Her response was something to this effect:

"hhhhhh!  There are more than one Harun you know! You so stupid!"

Nothing really, I simply stated that all religions were "invented" and that they are a major cause for wars. Then I was banned by that Abu Mubarak fella who, to me, seems like one angry dude. Most of his posts are filled with hate and venom and, to top it all, he frequently contradicts himself.

Some right deluded and paranoid bunch there.

What that is nothing??  That is BLASPHEMY...

You should have said All religions Except Islam were invented.. ., Then you could have spent some there.,  You can not put apples and oranges together and sell it in Islamic forums Demba..

I thought mo invented Islam.  Actually, what do people think of the possibility he didn't exist?

Here is a post I made a couple of years ago :

    Frustrated sister at Ummah.com
    « on: January 01, 2009, 17:31:33

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There is a thread at ummah with the title :

If you were to give a gun and a helmet and said FIGHT...Would You?

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
and here are some of the replies made by a muslimah with the nick Ruhi Islam :

    Quote
    YES I WOULD!!!

I am a sister but I would, I have more courage and passion than most (non-Muslim-because my muslim brothers are courages) MEN! Yes I do, not only would I go and fight, but I would also raise the flag of Islam, I would cut my hair and use it as a whip, I would grow and sharpen my nails and use them as claws...

How I wish I was at the time of the prophet asw so i could fight, walahi I would have killed so many of the oppressors, just give me the opportunity now and see what I will do, i will turn the world upside down...where are our leaders to dictate us? Ya hasratana, Only if I was a boy, only if I was a man.

    __________________

    Quote
And family, friends, possessions...forget them all, walahi I would sacrifice all of them for Islam, all of them in addition to myself.

    Quote
NO JOKES, I crave for such an opportunity, IF, after disguising myself as a man and arguing for hours I was still not permitted, then I would be a shooting star attending every single injured, supplying them with water and medication and cooking them food...I have fire inside of me because I know I am on the right.

but here is the hitch :

    Quote
How many times did a small believing army overcome a large disbeleiving army? Seriously, I want to help miliatarily, I want to be on the ground, when I see the news, I just wish I was there so I could help. If I was a man, I would have bought a plane ticket and filled a 20kg bag with supplies and left for Palistine TODAY! But Im sister, I can't travel without a mahram.
Allah sw knows his mountains and He thus sends snow accordingly.

    (Bolded by me)

There she is spoiling to join the fight against oppression but alas she cannot travel without a mahram. Islam is so unfair to women.

So she is willing to die for Allah, but not willing to travel alone.  Cheesy

I like long walks on the beach and am somewhat of a dreamer.

That made me laugh so hard and also sick to my stomach. Firstly no one no matter how they dress deserves to get raped. And secondly WTF, I wear a seat belt when I drive cause it's the law, it has nothing to do with me trusting myself while driving or not.

Once i read a post by muslim regarding '' which country is closest to shariah law?

He said; Saudi Arabia is not close to shariah because king and his family eat from golden bowls, and that's forbidden in Islam''. piggy

Isn't it funny how cats can understand people without ever reading a single psychology book?
