    I've been to a wedding in syria once, and I have to say it was loads of fun bellydancing (badly) with anyone and everyone  dance

    Depends on how modern your family is, there are loads of mixed weddings and dancing happens infront of men, and other ladies sit down bitching about the sluts dancing, behind the paper plates that they are fanning themselves with.   Cheesy Cheesy

    I love it.  Just wrap a pretty head scarf with gold coins (gypsy type ones) around my ass and belly dance until I get a stitch.  Used to have fun in weddings.
