I think it's funny that he's speaking to God but didn't write a Quran or Bible or Torah, he just takes a few notes on a piece of paper. And he reads them out so casually like it's no big deal, like he's so used to being spoken to by the grand architect of the universe that he just sorta scribbles some notes when he has the time.

Well the Bible has already been written and Pat doesn't want to fuck around with it. Anyway, this stuff is just current events, not guidance for future generations down through the millennia, so a few scribbles are all that's needed.
