Slightly indieish, could be bad or good. I cannot resist Penelope Cruz though

For those who don't know, a film about Lincoln is about to be released (no, not Lincoln Vampire hunter 2: This time it's personlol), it stars the elusive actor Daniel Day Lewis, one of the greatest actors of all time, as well as being directed by Spielberg (more hit and miss)

This trailer is epic, the film looks like it's going to be a great one, even if a bit...historically inaccurate.

Just watched this. I'd give it 8.5/10, definitely recommended.

I gotta watch this and then forward it to my Hindu BFF ( he's a spiritual atheist by my definition but still calls himself a hindu)

Anyone seen Skyfall yet? Any reviews? Should I watch in Imax or normal?

What are you planning to watch? I'm going on thursday and just want to see Skyfall, unsure as to whether I should watch it Imax or regular.

@Sprout, checked what's on tonight, nothing appealing. Might buy a DVD instead. I don't want to watch Skyfall tbh.

There's a multiplex near me that has these VIP screens. Reclining leather seats, and a bar. You can take your drinks in there, and before the movie starts you can place orders at the bar and a waiter brings you your drinks during the film. So you place your order before you take your seat, like, 'Hi, bring me a double Jack Daniels with ice 45 minutes into the movie please' and they do it.

I'm going to watch Skyfall at this place. Had enough of watching movies with the plebs. I like to put my feet up and enjoy.

Hmm, Disney has bought Lucasfilm for $4.05 billion. There will be a Disney trilogy of Star Wars sequels starting in 2015.

Well, Skyfall was lame. Ok film, but passable, does not deserve the hype or the +90% score on Rotten it's been getting. Maybe I'm not a big fan of Bond? Maybe Casino Royale was a fluke? Maybe I've outgrown them?

    Waste of a ticket.

Also, last time I ever go to the cinema to watch a film that has a certificate rating less than 18, fucking kids and teens with their rustling and talking and texting and tweeting. Old man grumble. Luckily there was nothing to ruin otherwise I would have been pissed.

     Cheesy

Meh, wasn't sure if I wanted to go see it, thanks for confirming it's unworthiness. I'll just wait for a decent version to wash up on the shores of pirate bay and watch on a rainy day.

Good idea, I wish I'd waited, I just thought ''90% on Rotten Tomatoes, it must be awesome like Casino''. What an idiot I am, should've waited to go see Argo instead.

I dunno, a few of the films I have always had as guilty pleasures. It's like eating poutine, you know it's crap and bad for you, but you enjoy it nonetheless (or at least, I do).

These are films I can't wait to see:

*The Hobbit (I LOVE LotR so this is the one I am looking forward to most)
    *Looper
    *Silver Linings Playbook
*Great Expectations (apparently not that good which is a shame)

The first Bond film I saw was Skyfall. It was ok, the intro was slow but then it got more interesting towards the end. Over-hyped for sure and it was so cheesy!

I've got a bad feeling about this......

On a serious note yesterday I saw the trailer of Life of PI at the cinema, despite the distracting paper rustlings and racist jokes (mostly mocking Irrfan Khan's accent) I thought the film looked very captivating. Might watch it when it comes out
