    Dear Ex-Muslim Council,

    My colleagues and I are from the University of Westminster, studying MA International Journalism. We are making a documentary (video) about why many British women convert to Islam and the problems they face in doing so.

    Many of the women say that they chose to become Muslims because of the respect it gives to women. However, some women who were born Muslims disagree with that. We were hoping that a female spokesperson from the Ex-Muslim Council would be able to tell us their views on women's rights in Islam. Would you be able to help us?

    The documentary will be submitted as coursework, and will also be on our own personal websites when its finished. You will be welcome to see the edit before it goes online if you wish. Please let us know if anyone from the Ex-Muslim Council would be available for an interview this coming week?

    Would love to read the study once it is completed as wee!
