    Very enjoyable game that. Two technically superb teams - Iniesta is a genius.

    the coach is a bit old.. but the team is brilliant.. they have a great defense.. but i'm not making any more predictions  lipsrsealed..

    I don't like Hodgson. I don't like him picking John Terry instead of Rio Ferdinand. I think they'll qualify from the group but I don't think they'll do it with decent football and if they meet Spain or Italy in the next round they will be humiliated I fear.

    Also, my impression of the Italy Spain match is different from you guys. I though Spain looked pretty stale in the attack compared to their normal standard. Not playing any forwards didn't help. I get that you don't want to break up the flow of the attack, but at least put a goalscorer on like Pedro, someone who can finish chances. They didn't look at all a threat to score for most of the match.

    Both sides seemed to create an equalish amount of opportunities. The Italian defense was really to blame for the goal allowed. Looked lazy and unfocused for large parts of the game. Also don't know how much I like de Rossi at the center of defense.  Undecided

    UEFA has opened disciplinary proceedings against the Croatian Football Federation (HNS) for incidents involving fans at the UEFA EURO 2012 match against the Republic of Ireland.
    UEFA has opened disciplinary proceedings against the Croatian Football Federation (HNS) for the setting-off and throwing of fireworks and missiles by supporters, and a pitch invasion by a spectator at the UEFA EURO 2012 Group C match against Republic of Ireland in Poznan on Sunday.

    The UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body will deal with the case on 15 June.

    This Poland v Russia game is brilliant.

    European Championships are better than the World Cup in terms of enjoyment right from the start - teams go for it more, at the WC's you get alot of boring games.
