    I found this forum through an ex muslim blog, it spoke well of this place, and I thought I'd register and see what's it all about.

    I am a liberal muslim, from a liberal family, and I have my growing doubts, although I weren't much religious ever, just gonna chill and see what I can find, hope you're all cool with that. Mostly here to socialise and make friends, you guys seem fun, and I have been 'creeping' around for a day .. so pls dont bite my head off. lolz

    ps. I'm a big big radiohead fan so hopefully connect with a few radiohead fans on here!!

LOL I'm not very imaginative unfortunately! :( ... well while I was creepin' I found that previous muslims were chased away so that kinda scared me lol, but ummm I hope I can just chat and stuff here instead of argue cause i'm not very clever so I wont have much to say  lipsrsealed aww thanks for the parrot it's sooooo cute!! I love the smiley collection here .. can't wait to use it!! ahaha

    Have you ever tried to bring up with your fellow muslims that ex-muslims, atheists, apostates should be accepted and not discriminated against by muslims?

    umm no not really, these things never really crossed my mind till I actually came across these different type of people yano? thats why I think that you guys should get to live openly too so that more people actually know you exist. i dont know if that makes sense. Huh?

    It makes perfect sense Faatima. I personally am openly an atheist, because I don't feel the fear, threats, intimidation, etc. in my environment that many of my fellow ex-muslims here on the site have to go through. It's a shame that there's not as much of a vocal presence of ex-muslims in the real world as compared to the internet, but I hope the efforts of the Council of Ex-Muslims can help us turn the corner on that front.

    umm my growing doubts are more like doubts that have been in the back of my mind forever but they are surfacing now cos i been coming across blogs and stuff alot recently .. god is out there somewhere but if it's Allah or not i dont know about that, religions are kinda overrated, they all the same .. meh .

    yeah i agree asbie - i have strong beliefs in human rights and yes that includes homosexuals and apostateys  .. i think thats what there called? Huh?

    Go to your settings at:

    Debunker (who no longer seems to post, alas) was a Muslim, and he was voted Poster of the Month.

    I don't like the idea of chasing anyone away, but Muslims who attract flak tend to be those who won't engage honestly and openly in dialogue. Same goes for EDL types etc.
