Virginity is being made for women of Muslim faith in the Middle East who have become the sacrificial lambs of “honor killings”; those women whose voices have been choked behind thousands of years of oppression; the same voices, which do not have an echo loud enough to be heard across oceans and mountains. Honor killings, rape, prostitution and sexual trafficking are a few of the crises affecting the 3 leading characters at the heart of our film. There will be a non-profit company born out of this film, which will aid Muslim women in this plight

In Pakistan at least honour killings also end with the deaths of boys and men. Not as much as women but I reckon at least a third of honour killings are males.

I am my own worst enemy and best friend, itsa bit of a squeeze in a three-quarter bed, tho. Unhinged!? If I was a dog I would be having kittens, that is unhinged. Footloose n fancy free, forced to fit, fated to fly. One or 2 words, 3 and 3/thirds, looking comely but lonely, till I made them homely.D

Virginity and the family's honour is the reason why FGM is practised in my region -_-

Honour killings happen in my society. The last one I heard of was of a girl who eloped with her Egyptian lover.

I'm just wondering, is killing a man you think you're superior to can be called an honour killing? That happens in my society too!

Honor killings...I have to turn the channel when its shown on turkish shows that are fiction. I can't even think about how some people STILL commit these evil acts in real life.

There is nothing 'honourable' about murdering someone.
