     ^

    Who said that quote?

In my opinion a life without curiosity is not a life worth living

"Meaning and morality of One's life come from within oneself. Healthy, strong individuals seek self expansion by experimenting and by living dangerously. Life consists of an infinite number of possibilities and the healthy person explores as many of them as possible. Religions that teach pity, self-contempt, humility, self-restraint and guilt are incorrect. The good life is ever changing, challenging, devoid of regret, intense, creative and risky.” - F. Nietzsche

I haven't been able to trace this back to any of his written works so I've no idea whether or not he actually said it but this quote has always pushed me further than I was comfortable with when faced with large, impending changes, from my hesitant apostasy to currently moving forward with the goals I hold dearest to my heart.

"I know where I'm going and I know the truth, and I don't have to be what you want me to be. I'm free to be what I want."
    Muhammad Ali

"It's much easier to act yourself into feeling than to feel into acting."

    - fucked if I know, but it's about the only useful advice I've ever received. Motivation is over-rated.

Ooh and this really helps me with anxiety - "Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday, and all is well."

A thought hit me in the shower today, if I was to die in 10 minutes (my showers are pretty morbid affairs), what could I be proud of? So I wrote my obit this evening (as you do) - 'spent his days sitting at a computer losing a struggle to do some schoolwork' doesn't make for impressive reading.. Going to stick it on my notice board. Hopefully will inspire me to find some things to fill it up... I don't want to live life without leaving my mark on anything or anyone. >.<

LOL you wrote your own obituary? You might have left your mark on someone without noticing ya know. But yeah, this isn't a bad idea. Might steal it  grin12

Something that has been helping recently -

Get a diary (the schedule, not the dear-diary, kind) and just list things you did of note at the end of each day. After a half dozen 'nothing's I was embarrassed enough to make sure I tried something new and challenging on most days since.

“Breathe in deep, Lieutenant Commander. You too, Charley. You feel that pounding in your heart, that tightness in the pit of your stomach, the blood rushing to your head? Do you know what that is? That's adventure. The thrill and the fear and the joy of stepping into the unknown. That's why we're all here and that's why we're alive!”
