    Also, I was drinking coffee with milk in it, and milk has a high content of various sugars that are precursors of ethanol. Therefore, if any fraction of those sugars had fermented (which is not beyond the realms of possibility) it would indeed by the case that I was drinking alcohol during this exchange of dribbling bullshit.

    If they did  ferment they'd do so after  you drank the coffee with that sugar in it. So you weren't actually drinking the ethanol.  piggy

    Not necessarily. It is possible for milk to begin fermenting before you drink it.

    If it was good enough for good old Mo, surely you can have some booze too... I think Mo told a little fib about the prohibition of alcohol...When he tried to rob a caravan once,  all his 40 thieves were drunk, and it all went wrong. So Mo helped Allah out with a little extra verse, to make sure the next time the heist will go to plan...

    As he did not observe his own rule, as the SAHIH hadith show, he made the whole thing up to control his men. That is was Islam is about generally: control.
