That is a good topic. Hell too. I remember on the magic sandwich show when he was asked about hell he did avoid answering. Also we could ask his opinion on beheading. Apparently they are painless Roll Eyes.

He's a coward, a charlatan, and a snake oil salesman. He can't debate man to man, one on one, or under normal debating rules and conditions. But then that's not the point, the point is to manipulate the whole situation, to be the chief circus clown, and to spread Wahabbi Dawah on multimedia.

He basically wants to be the British Zakir Naik. And he's a scaredy cat.

What does he mean by academics? I don't know if the Rationalier is a teacher or a scholar in some institiute of higher education, but does that even matter? The POINT is that he has more knowledge about Islam than most people, including academics like Lawrence Krauss. And from Hamza's perspective, wouldn't it be MORE beneficial to debate Ex-Muslims, rather than Non-Muslims (not including apostates)?

    he doesn't want to debate.

He just wants publicity for himself. Me and others on this forum have been following Hamza's career since the summer of 2011 when he showed up to the atheist convention.

This guy is one of the most dishonest people you will ever meet.

He doesn't even believe his own arguments.

Which is why it was a mistake for Krauss to agree debating with him

Too fucking busy, and vice versa.

Krauss has done nothing but harm to himself and his reputation. Intellectuals and scientists should accept public invitations only when they're arranged by academic institutions. Religious organizations would turn to dirty tactics as a matter of reflex.

And how naively Krauss answered Hamza's question. When you intend to tell a pseudo-intellectual, slobbering crackpot that you are about to rationalize your morality (why incest is right/wrong), you should be aware that this person and his little crowd will try to trap you into a corner by the way you phrase yourself. This is again why a public debater should be an orator of class as well as an academic.

Believe those who are seeking the truth. Doubt those who find it.

He doesn't debate non academics like the guy he got his arguments from william lane craig. He only wants to debate PHD's to appeal to authority. It's like why WLC doesn't want to debate matt dillahunty.

I had a feeling therationalisers non acedemic background would be used as an excuse. Typical.

"Only someone naive will debate an issue where the opponent can invent lies/misquote just to win an argument."

lol ... doesn't everybody can lie or misquote something, even academics? I don't see what point Hamza is trying to make here... seems like an excuse  Huh?

If the abrahamic god judged himself according to his own moral standards, he'd go to hell.

He's jealous, full of pride, he created evil, he doesn't heal sick people while he could, he's attacking people who are weaker than him, he follows his own desires and he commits murders all the time.

its a really strange thing to say.

TheRationalizer wants to debate Hamza because Hamza is misrepresenting, and TheRationalizer is willing and able to prove it. It doesn't even make sense as a poor excuse. If your opponent is 'misrepresenting', you prove it, and then you win the debate. Easy.

In addition, the hipocrisy of that statement is really through the roof, but that probably doesn't even need to be said.

Hamza thinks he is a big shot now. cute

Wait Hamza is NOT an academic!  So wtf is he complaining about?  Dude cant even speak Arabic but wants to debate about Islam and he has the balls to talk academics?  Just blast him on twitter for being a coward.  And link to the magic sandwich show and let people decide for themselves.

Beheading is painless, he doesn't mind hearing his parents screams of pain while he enjoys the 72 alien virgins with unbreakable hymens.  loser!

I disagree. I think it is better.
a formal debate is perfect for hamza. He can speak quickly for 25 minutes saing as much bullshit as possible interrupted.
A conversation is more like  real debate. So called formal debates are simply alternating rehearsed speeches.

    Aww  001_wub

When Hamza wrote his little report on The Rationalizer interviewing scientists who were used in propaganda for the scientific miracle claims, he just said "An atheist is". Wouldn't mention who. bless.

    "What do we want?"
"Hamza to man up and debate the Rationalizer!"
    "When do we want it?"
    "Now!"

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad.  You're mad.'
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'
