I suppose I am trying to do a Kipling!

    Quote
"Why brought ye us from bondage,

    “Our loved Egyptian night?”

    .

In some ways I think it is wrong to leave an educated adult believing and repeating such things, and want to intervene and show a better way!

When you are a Bear of Very Little Brain, and you Think of Things, you find sometimes that a Thing which seemed very Thingish inside you is quite different when it gets out into the open and has other people looking at it.

    A.A. Milne,

"We cannot slaughter each other out of the human impasse"

Scams.. scams.. everywhere.... millions  and  millions of people with silly irrational blind beliefs...

Do not let silence become your legacy.. Question everything
I renounced my faith to become a kafir,
the beloved betrayed me and turned in to  a Muslim

Probably!  From the bloke telling me this and trying to say Islam is wonderful!  It feels like I definitely need to keep religion of the agenda when we meet!

I can't wait for the day when Saudi Arabia runs out of oil or the world starts using alternative energy sources. They've spent all their money pretty much making memoirs of Islam for the next few centuries. The same way the Catholic church spent all it's money building fantastical churches coated in gold and art back in medieval times (anticipating a rise in numbers) only for them to be tourist attractions today and emptied.

    ..

The parallels between Islam today and Christianity a few hundred years ago is so dead on in every way.

    That will be the day.

Without oil Saudia Arabia will just turn into another third world country that nobody takes notice of.

In my opinion a life without curiosity is not a life worth living

But aren't all the women in masjad al haram in niqab??

If they just grope women at random they could be groping a 90 year old and think their groping a twenty year old...

where most women wear niqabs, the men just flirt with random women in the street, and it wasn’t uncommon for old women to be hit on by young men. What if somebody accidently hit on their mother or something
