I made a comment to a muslim I know about how wonderful it is being kuffir - I had just had a hog roast sandwich near Southwark Cathedral - and that was emailed back to me!

Just worked out the comments below the video in urdu. Hilarious- someone asks perfectly reasonable question if its just the adhan the flower blooms to or if other sounds will have same effect- only to have his head bitten off in a sarcastic fashion and a tirade

Yea, I'm thinking either the azhan is at the right time of day for that flower to be blooming, or it would do the same with other sounds.

Just a fruit for thought. Notice how in between the words "hayya ulul fala", during the pause, the flower is still blooming. It seems to be just happening while the azan is going on. Even if the sound is affecting its blossom, what makes us so certain that any other noise cannot do the same thing?

Also, the flower is known to blossom during sunset in a very short span. Here is a video of it without the azan : There are two videos on the bottom-right of this wikipedia page.

I'd be more impressed if the azan emanated from the flower as it bloomed. We wouldn't even need Mu'azzins where these flowers grew that way. Some of them could just bloom whenever it was prayer time. How did you miss this shit, Allah?

That fellow in that link k.a.kiani of Siasat.pk from London,, if he is a school kid, it is Ok.. but if he is high school graduate with a bit biology background., he is a FOOL.,

He should have known if flowers respond/bloom to azan, means that it is nothing to do with that Arabic gibberish but Biological species respond to many signals.. such as sound, touch, light, magnetic fields etc..etc.. That is a very well established fact..

I am sure such sound sensitive flowers will bloom even if dog howls around that flowering plant ..forget Azan ..
