Catholocism officially more scientific than Islam

You could do it if you were a highly paid individual who didn't have to worry about being chased out of his local mosque. To say christianity has never been anti-science is quite simply not true. Anyone remember the dark ages? The inquisition? Galileo?
Islam had a golden age that lasted, what, three centuries? They did good in that time, but for the last near on a thousand years they take their religion to seriously.
What creeped me out was about two weeks ago, there was a debate in Parliament on giving greater freedoms to religious people and the MP was challenged by one of his fellows. "Would that include creationism?" Yes. Yes it would. It would give them the freedom to teach creationism as valid. All in the name of tolerance of course. Fuck, we're going to turn into the next America at this rate.
`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.'
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'
