    http://freethoughtblogs.com/maryamnamazie/2013/06/04/calling-ex-muslim-imams-and-mullahs/

    Quote from: Maryam Namazie
I spoke to Catherine Dunphy, Executive Director of the Clergy Project, at the Washington DC Women in Secularism conference end May about incorporating ex-Muslim imams and mullahs into the Clergy Project which is a confidential online community for faithless clergy.

If you are an imam and mullah who has finally seen the light, please get in touch with her. There have to be many – particularly since it must be hard keeping a straight face whilst speaking about peace and love (at least in English) when Islamism is slaughtering and terrorising left, right and centre.

More details at the blog page listed at the top and / or clergyproject.org

They could attract the attention of ex imams and mullahs by putting up billboards and advertisement near mosques where ex muslims that are currently imams can be more likely to see as well as closeted ex muslims attending the mosques.

In my opinion a life without curiosity is not a life worth living

Not bloody likely. Turkish imams (which ostensibly appear to be the most liberal, rational and perspicacious) from my experiences certainly, would sooner embrace sufism/allegory than concede to apostasy.

I do not dispute that crypto-ex-muslim clergy exist but the last thing they need is for their reputation to be besmirched.

We must wage a struggle from below, not from above. as a fellow (socialist) Namazie should be cognisant of this.
