    I now remember my friend showed me another video from this same guy explaining about justification of mo marrying aisha at age 9 in response to me criticising of it . Frankly , the video was useless as it only tries to justify that certain countries have age restrictions of marriage as low as 13 and does not explain why mo got a hard on with a 6 year old girl .

    Ex-Muslims are NOT traitors., They are saviors of Muslims and even Islam.   They making the faith toothless tooth ferry story  are actually saving the Muslim folks from terrible wars and tragedies with in Islam and between the different religious faith heads.  Off course when I am talking saving Muslim folks ., It is about those Muslim folks who don't care about what others follow but they believe in some sort allah god that satisfy their understanding of allah..     if your referring to the hooded guy in the vid he's american.   The reason he is hooded is because before he posted videos with his face but then had to delete his entire old channel a couple years ago because he is a teacher in the bible belt.

    He started this new channel where he posts anonymously.  He is a really good poet you should watch his the poems he writes and then narrates on video.

    How about you discuss atheism with average working muslims, but in a manner that they can relate to? IE: bring in critical theory, philosophy (islamic included) etc?     We need to debate critically and understand why people cling onto this insidious ideology in a thoughtful and measured manner, without resorting to stereotypical tropes. We need to realise the problems that muslims face in this country, and especially working class muslims (maybe there's a working class muslim girl in the East End doubting her faith but feels like joining the new atheist brigade would betray her identity and curtail her political desires?) How do you know that? Granted, we can't do much, if anything, but we need to develop revolutionary praxis that members can use in future situations. I've done my fair share of that, and now I'm passing on the baton. Who's taking it?

    I agree that most muslims just try their best to put food on their table and a roof over their head, just like most of humanity who aren't lucky to belong to the upper-classes. These dawah videos are primarily directed to young westerners both born muslims and potential converts. Muslims in muslim countries have thrir equivalent, like in Egypt... but most are just muslims the way some christians are, they were bornand indoctrinated with it.

    Why don't you start a thread to discuss the issues YOU want? I would gladly participate. Perhaps you've done it before, but I am releatively new to the forum.

    This is just conformation bias. If you're here looking for that kind of thing to validate your apathy and discontent with the world, you'll find it and you'll find your fall guy. If instead you're here looking for thoughtful and measured efforts to reach out that are more productive, you'll find that too. Most people are capable of both. Perhaps having a superficial dig at something that caught their eye one moment and doing something more thoughtful and productive another moment.

    I don't see you participating in either of those avenues, productively or otherwise. I appreciate the need to vent and sometimes when we vent we paint with broad strokes, but don't use lazy and sloppy generalisations of the members of this forum to validate your own inaction. Own it.
